The TikTok Hearings were a masterclass in elected representative idiocy.
Let’s be very clear: Nothing about this is okay. The world Desantis and Lee are trying to create is a dystopia of delusion and bigotry. We must remain diligent — educators, advocates, spiritual people, all those who believe that all people’s stories should be told. Honestly. Openly. Loudly.
Mental health on college campuses is a huge issue, and many campuses have reduced mental health services because of cost. It is the number one request the Faculty at my college makes when we’re asked what is needed for student support.
